about

:: I called this album Reworks because I was inspired to put my own spin on certain samples that I was drawn to. I have been listening to a lot of mellow, alternative music recently and wanted to ‘rework’/manipulate those sounds into a experimental hip hop style that appealed to me. ::

::“Flamingosis”. The name “Flamingosis” originates from a frisbee freestyle move that my father created. Back in the 70’s, my dad and uncle were world champions in the sport of freestyle frisbee. It sounds really random, but it’s true. I try to carry on my family’s rich tradition in creativity and self-expression, not through sports or frisbee, but rather through electronic music.::
